There was one consistent female waiter that assisted our waiter by being available for us to ask for help. She knew what she was doing. Upon entering the restaurant, no one is ever at th4 cash register or hosting. I have only ordered take-out from this place 2 other times, and every time I pick-up it takes a while for someone to notice a customer waiting around the corner to figure out how the restaurant is being run. When it comes to customer service, you get better service at an IHOP. The food is great. To complete the order, the restaurant wants to charge extra for ranch and refills (I overheard the table next to me with the waiter). When I order take-out, these items are included. At the restaurant, you can see the panels of the lower roof filled with thick dust. The windows look like they haven't been washed in a long time. The place essentials appears to have had a touch of love only whenever it was opened. When I ordered take-out, I was refused their froze because you it is only served in the restaurant. Today I went to order our usual with the froze, and they said there is not froze and that Jerrad (the cashier) said that he turned it off....however, it was only 7:30pm and they close at 10pm. I usually have my froze at Sol Cocina on PCH with a nice ocean view....I thought I couldn't finally try these locations froze since it is a block away from my place....too bad. Also, if they are to charge extra for anything you might need, they should make people pay after they are done with their meal rather than beforehand. The restaurant does not have a nice flow, and the workers look miserable. We will not be eating at the restaurant again. I will have to check the kitchen cleanliness rating. Although I like the food, upon sitting in, I'm not sure the food is safe to eat...

Pitfire Artisan Pizza has a private parking lot but it was pretty packed. I got lucky and found parking. I came here for a friend's private birthday party. It was so private I couldn't find my friends until they led me to the back room. I'm grateful there was a private room cause the front of house was packed with little kids celebrating their sports victory and they were spread everywhere blocking folks from walking through the restaurant. In the back we had a large group and there was only 1 staff member helping us. Though I had a hard time getting ahold of them and didn't see much of them. My friend ordered one of each pizza to start and then more of the popular ones a few times. These pizzas were really affordable for artisan pizzas ranging between $10-12.50/pizza. My only issue with the pizzas were such thin crust that it got quickly soggy and there wasn't much of the protein at all. It made it difficult to pick up and eat so I had to knife and fork it. My favorite of all the pizzas I tried was their Honey Bear pizza. It had sausage, ricotta, honey, calabrian chile, and bee pollen. It had a nice sweet and savory bite to it. Of the one staff person I encountered there was room for improvement. They must have made good money off the party we had, and really could have made more on drink orders if they were around more. Their loss. And there were a few of us who asked for ranch, and they bring back a small portion that was more like for one person, and they left it at the counter for us to share it. What the heck. Had I known I would have went to Ralphs and gotten my own bottle of ranch. And also taking so long, the majority of my meal was ranchless, and by the time it got there I had to share and didn't get as much as I would have wanted. I can see how this is a great spot to host events, but service has room for improvement. I don't think the pizza is good enough on its' own to bring me back here unless there was so occasion to come back for.

Seriously can't believe how good this pizza was. I asked the cashier what I should order that she recommended a pizza called "Sausage Party".... Yeah, I know. That's a terrible and funny name for the pizza. She said I needed to get that and also the spicy honey sauce and ranch dressing and dip the pizza into both. I went with it and it was rediculously good. The honey sauce is spicy but a great sweet flavor also, and the ranch weirdly went perfectly. The pizza was amazing, a ton of well seasoned sausage and a sauce that was just perfect. I can't wait to go again. It also feels like going to a restaurant. You order food and drinks and they bring it to the table and the waiters were super cool. Always checking up to see if I needed a refill or anything.

The service here was extremely good. Everyone was very friendly and there was prompt service. We went there in the evening, so everything seemed dark. While there was plenty of seating when we got there, I could see there being an issue or a wait as soon as we were able to find a seat to eat. The pizza was pretty good. However, I did order one of their most popular pizzas and it came with ricotta, but there was an entire slice of pizza that didn't have any ricotta on it, but when looking at different pictures of the pizza from other reviews, it looks like they just didn't add as much on mine. I think they also take a lot of pride in their house made ranch which cost nearly 2 dollars for a little few ounces of it. Not to mention it tasted a lot like blue cheese without the chunks of blue cheese in it. I do not like blue cheese, so someone else might like this ranch dressing more than I did overall it was a decent experience.

So we came here pretty randomly, but WOW were we impressed! The pizza is amazing, we got the pesto pizza with no chicken on it and it was delicious! I got the cheese pizza also delicious! Crust was on point and so was the sauce, def recommended One thing we ordered that could be improved was the roasted broccolini. It was good but super dry and it just came on a plate full of spices- just wasn't prepared the best, but the idea is there!
